Wallingford is gearing up for its very own food and drink festival on Sunday 19th May, and as the most awesome eaterie in town (if we say so ourselves), we will of course be showing off our tasty fayre on the day.
We are working closely with Wallingford Butchers who source all their high quality meat locally, and will be doing a butchery demonstration. We will then be cooking these fine cuts of meat and handing out samples, so come along and taste the difference!
If you'll be stopping for the day, pop into the OPO for one of our famous cocktails and a light lunch, or relax with a coffee and a slice of cake!

Finally, another bank holiday weekend is upon us at the end of March, and Easter is a perfect time to make the most of some time off and to spend more time with friends and family.
From Friday 29th March to 1st April, we'll be offering Easter food specials, with a delicious traditional Sunday roast on Easter Sunday. Bring the children along for some family time, a hot chocolate and a cake should do the trick!

For the traditionalists, our usual Sunday Roast will hit the spot. With premium 100% British beef from Aubrey Allen, golden roast potatoes, fresh seasonal vegetables, light and crispy Yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy, there's nothing not to like.

Our coffee festival is coming to Wallingford! This is your opportunity to try a range of different speciality coffees with our tasting sessions, coffee masterclasses, coffee pudding specials and sweet treats, as well as learning some interesting coffee facts - always good to acquire random bits of knowledge.
With three different speciality espresso roasts and two filter roasts for you to try, with different beans in each, you can brush up on your discerning coffee taste. All our coffees will also be available to take away if you have to rush off!
We'll be offering free tastings of our filter coffee at 8.30am, 10.30am and 11.30am with tasting cards to help you identify different flavours as well as an inspiring talk by our connoisseur and Coffee Development Manager, Tom.
There will be some indulgent coffee puddings specially created by our Head Chef, as well as a range of cakes, biscuits and tray bakes to compliment your coffee.

Ok, so the Olympics doesn't quite come to Wallingford, but we're certainly going to get in the spirit of the games!
The Olympic torch is indeed coming to Wallingford, on Tuesday 10th July, and to mark this historical event, we are going to be opening early for breakfast. Visit us for an Olympic sized cooked breakfast and celebrate with some of our delicious Fair Trade coffee to get you buzzing ready for the torch relay visit!
We will also be screening all major Olympic Games events live on our flatscreen in the bar area, so you won't miss out on all the action if you're out and about.
